New Titles for all poems

Today I'm trying to put new titles on all my poems. It's not fun I don't like changing titles to things for some reason.
My poem is up at Hobble Creek check it out.
Today I'm also redrafting several poems and hope that I'm making them better. The summer class I'm in I think is going to help me with revision and force me to fix a lot of problems in my poems.
Really looking forward to starting to read for Barn Owl Review. I think that it is going to be a lot of fun.

Done with first year

I am done with my first year in the NEOMFA. The Colt has survived because of his friends and his great teachers. I just finished my last paper and sent it in to put the stamp on my first year in the program I've grown to love. Now I can just write, and my writing has gotten a lot better, my understanding of good poetry is much better, and I feel like I'm really a grad. student and not somebody who is in grad. school that doesn't belong. Several people have told me, "You've done more in one year then I did during my whole MFA." I think they are blowing smoke up my ass because I only did what I thought I had to. And it was fun.

Yesterday the NEOMFA gang hung out in Akron. Here are some pictures:

How to get out of the picture

Lately I've been blogging a lot. I think that it's because I bought a camera a few weeks back and have had a bunch of pictures to post. Now I found out a great way to get out of having my picture posted on a blog. Having my own camera has kept me from being in the pictures. It has however made me more annoying to my friends because I always have it with me and am always taking pictures. I got called a Japanese tourist once because I used it so much. I just think that it is fun to take lots of pictures, and it stops my face from getting on other people's blogs.

Here is a picture for old times sake:

Grad. Reading

Four of my closest friends are reading tonight at their graduation reading. I can't wait to hear them read. Yesterday I got to hear Emily, Cathy, and Lindsey read which was great. I love see my friends read and I may get teary during the reading because it is sad to see them finish and know that I won't have class with them anymore. Congratulations to all of you, all of you have help my writing and I will never forget that.

On a different note I just got one of my poems pick up at Hobble Creek Review. I very excited about have a poem published outside of school journals.

Here are some pictures from the week:
